City & Guilds 2377 – Portable Appliance Testing to the IEE Code of Practice.
This course is designed around the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment. This course covers the legislative and procedural requirements associated with equipment maintenance and with the technical approach to the testing itself.
The course is of one day duration, in which candidates will study all aspects of the Code of Practice and undertake a final City and Guilds external assessment, in the form of a one hour multiple choice exam comprising 30 questions.
Depending on demand, this course can be delivered to suit individual or company requirements, but it is usually conducted over one day at our training centre, with the exam at the end of that day.
Candidates will require their own copy of the IEE Code of Practice for use during the assessment.
