Redford Charles / Megger Open Day

Redford Charles Ltd and Megger Instruments
OPEN DAY - 17 th June

Redford Charles Ltd and Megger have teamed up to provide an Open Day
on Thursday 17th June, 8.45 for 9am start, to be held at Redford Charles premises:

Redford Charles Training Centre, Unit L2, Temple Court, Knight Road, Strood, Kent ME2 2LT

The purpose of the open day is to keep valued customers up to date on matters relating to the electrical contracting industry. In particular, the topics will relate generally to electrical installations in domestic properties.

The items to be covered will include:

  • An introduction to PAT testing
  • Structured cable testing (data wiring)
  • Completion of the domestic Electrical Installation Certificate
  • The installation of smoke detectors to comply with BS 5839 Part 6 for dwellings
  • Safe Isolation procedures
  • Ring circuit testing
  • Building Regulations that have an effect on electrical installation in dwellings
  • Megger test instrument demonstrations, with appropriate software programmes
  • A brief overview of PV solar photovoltaic systems
  • Frequently asked questions

Electrical contractors generally find it time consuming to gather in all relevant up to date information relating to their work, so why not spend a day to get the latest information on the wide variety of subjects being discussed.

In order for delegates to get the most out of the day, numbers are limited to 25/30, so as to encourage open discussions.

Previous open days provided by Redford Charles and Megger have proved very popular indeed and at just £40.00 (inc VAT) per delegate provides an economic way to receive information from industry experts. Therefore it is strongly recommended that you reserve your place for the open day at the earliest opportunity by calling Lisa O’Keeffe on 01634 711955, or emailing your details to admin@redfordcharles.com. You can also pay the entry fee over the phone with your debit or credit card.

We look forward to seeing you there.

Yours sincerely
