Periodic Inspections, Testing and Reporting on Existing Electrical Installations (Testing to 17th Edition)

This two day course on periodic inspection and testing of existing installations is designed to provide an awareness of procedures required to undertake inspection and testing of existing electrical installations in order to establish their electrical safety for continued use. The course will include instruction on how to complete all sections of the Periodic Inspection Report together with its related schedule of inspection, schedule of test results and circuit details.

During this two day awareness course each delegate will have to demonstrate a practical competence in inspection and testing and undertake a 2 hour written exam paper. Success in each of these components of practical assessment of competence at inspection and testing and success in the written exam will result in Certificate of Attendance being awarded.

Due to the complex nature of this course it is strongly recommended that delegates should have successfully completed either the C & G 2381 16th Edition update course or the C & G 2391 Inspection and Testing course.

The course is aimed at supervisors of registered and non-registered electrical contractors, technicians and electricians. Attendance on this course will help Contractors and their electricians, Conforming Bodies and other organizations in inspecting and testing and the reporting of existing electrical installations.
