Condition Inspection and Reporting of an Existing Electrical Installation (Replaces Periodic Inspection Report - PIR)

This two day course is designed to provide an awareness of procedures required to undertake inspection and testing of existing electrical installations in order to establish their electrical safety for continued use. The course will include instructions on how to complete all sections of the new Condition Electrical Installation Conditions Report, which replaces the old Periodic Inspection Report in the new 17th Edition Wiring Regulations amendments. The course will provide guidance on how to complete all sections of the Condition Report together with the related schedules.

Due to the complex nature of this course it is strongly recommended that delegates should have successfully completed either the City & Guilds 2382 17th Edition update course or the City & Guilds 2391 Inspection and Testing course.

The course is aimed at supervisors of registered and non-registered electrical contractors, technicians and electricians. Attendance on this course will help Contractors and their electricians, Conforming Bodies and other organisations in inspecting and testing and the reporting of existing electrical installations.
