Awareness of Amendment 4 to Wiring Regulations BS7671 (Redford Charles course)

The content for BS 7671:2018 + Amendment 4 (2026) to the 18th Edition of the IET Wiring Regulations has now been signed off and is due to be published on 15 April 2026.

Amendment 4 introduces significant changes, including a new chapter on stationary secondary batteries for electrical storage and supply, new sections on functional earthing and equipotential bonding for ICT systems, and Power over Ethernet (PoE); plus a major revision of Section 710 Medical Locations and the inclusion of a schedule of test results for recording the resistance of supplementary protective equipotential bonding conductors.

These one-day Awareness Days are to advise delegates of the Amendment 4 changes to BS 7671, for those who currently hold a 2382-18 and 2382-22 qualification.  

Please note: BS 7671:2018+A4:2026 is a consolidated publication which incorporates all previous amendments to the standard.  For those that have not kept up to date with amendments 2 & 3, these previous amendments will not be included in these Amendment 4 Awareness Days.
