RENEWABLES COURSES
What is Renewable Energy?
There are four main renewable energy sources used to power the UK: wind, solar, hydroelectric and bioenergy. They harness the natural power of the sun, our weather, our waterways and tides, and organic materials to generate electricity. Today, renewable energy sources make up a significant proportion of the electricity mix that powers our homes and businesses.
MCS ACCREDITATION
Courses we provide are recognised qualifications, which upon successful completion, enable delegates to progress to apply for MCS accreditation. The City & Guilds 2922-34 PV Solar and 2923-34 EESS (Battery Storage) courses are both recognised for those looking to gain such accreditation.
For delegates who have previously undertaken the EAL PV Solar and EESS courses, these too are recognised courses enabling you to apply for MCS Accreditation.
Our bespoke Quality Management System Workshop provides guidance in creating the quality manual required to apply for MCS accreditation. Using templates, delegates will leave the workshop with a Quality Manual upon completion of the day’s activities.

ELECTRICiAN PLUS
The ECS are pushing changes for electricians with regards to Solar PV, Battery Storage and Electric Vehicle Charging. They are referencing the ELECTRICIAN PLUS qualifications as a fundamental requirement for ECS cards. The EAS (Electrotechnical Assessment Specification) will be implementing changes that mean, by October 2026, individuals will need to hold at least one of these renewables qualifications to belong to CPS (Competent Persons Scheme) such as NICEIC, NAPIT, etc.
The Renewables qualifications we provide have been approved by TESP (The Electrotechnical Skills Partnership).
The Electrician Plus / Electrician + is a TESP trademark and denotes a qualification which has been approved by TESP for the purpose of continual development and upskilling for qualified electricians.
