Understanding Circuit Diagrams

Course Information:
This one-day course is an introduction into the different types of drawing communication used within the Electro-technical industry and enables candidates to understand the drawings they encounter, to facilitate correct installation and fault finding.

We are offering a one-day training course to:

• Identify some of the different drawing types used within the industry and for what purpose.

• Explain how some of the common key components, shown on the drawings, operate.

• Identify what the different symbols used represent.

• Explain the different circuit conventions that are used in circuit diagrams.

• Identify simple relay logic and explain how simple circuits operate and how this relates to the PLC programming.

Candidates will each receive a course handbook to take away with them and working drawings will be used during discussions and scenarios.  A certificate of attendance will be awarded upon completion of the day.
